Keep It Together, Dear Green Lung
Once upon a time, I lay in the meadow
In your shadow, my dear old tree.
Today I write you memories,
Still enjoy the protection of your mighty canopy.
Old oak next to daffodils on the ground of hope.
In my thoughts, you take me away -
There, where nature and man still live together,
Where a tree still speaks all languages,
An animal is still sacred, one treasures water like gold,
Human arms give love.
Words like flowers.
Ideas blow from the mind into the lyrical soul,
Sprout in spiritual illumination, blossom,
Or wither before the transcript.
The far distance, a warm place in the protection of the coexistence.
